Miniature Donkey Stud.
We own a 30 acre family run
farm based in Durley, near Southampton, Hampshire.
We specialise in breeding
Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys, this is our passion and done purely as a
hobby/interest and not as a money making enterprise.
We started with 2 and at
present have 19 and growing……………..
Every one of our donkeys
are super friendly, handled daily and loved very much, each one an individual
and a pleasure to own.
Miniature donkeys are
renowned for being among the most friendly, docile and loveable pets you could
ever own, come and meet our donkeys and see for yourselves.
We have now built up a top
quality breeding herd, which includes 9 ‘Marklye Stud’ miniatures from East
Sussex, bred by ‘Lady Fisher’, the first person to import miniatures into the
UK. We own a stunning stallion called
‘Shadow of Marklye’, ‘Lady Fisher’ imported him from the USA.
